Heritage?

“Heritage”, il Patrimonio, è il tema centrale di outdoor festival 2018 che animerà il Mattatoio Testaccio dal 14 aprile al 12 maggio. La cultura popolare di oggi, tra influenze internazionali, mass media e social network, sarà al centro di un’indagine che metterà in risalto il singolo e le proprie scelte. Per questo il festival propone un’offerta eterogenea che si articola in varie sezioni: Arte, Musica, Televisione, alle quali si aggiungono le aree dedicate alle Conferenze e al Mercato dei makers contemporanei. Nell’anno europeo dedicato al Patrimonio Culturale, outdoor e le sue tante discipline artistiche in programma indagheranno il tema ponendo interrogativi a tutti voi che sarete parte di questo grande evento: cosa rappresenta il patrimonio oggi? Quali culture sono oggi considerate come patrimonio nella nostra società? Quale patrimonio stiamo costruendo e quale trasmetteremo alle future generazioni?

Heritage is the main theme of Outdoor festival that will return from April 14^th to May 12^th 2018 at the Mattatoio in Rome. Today’s popular culture, through international influences, mass media and social network, will be the central point of a reflection focused on the individual and its choices. This is why Outdoor 2018 presents an heterogeneous offer articulated through its different sections: Art, Music and Television, with special areas dedicated to lectures and to a market of contemporary makers. This year the main theme of the event is “Heritage”. In the European year of cultural heritage, Outdoor, through the arts, reflects on this theme by posing some key questions to the visitors of the event: What is heritage today? Which cultures are considered as heritage of our society? Which heritage are we building and which one will we pass on to future generations?
