Segni perfettamente riconoscibili ma che conducono ben oltre la loro rappresentazione iconografica ed economica. Loghi disposti perfettamente in fila che celano un messaggio altro. Apparentemente un gioco molto colorato, il lavoro dell’artista norvegese DOT DOT DOT è un riassunto della sua personale visione dell’evoluzione del movimento della Street Art. La tecnologia, la comunicazione, i media e le peculiari diversità estetiche sono concetti chiave imprescindibili per questa corrente artistica che sembra non essere più semplicemente composta dalla sola potenza estetica. La Street Art oggi è ben altro, racchiude tutte queste strade al suo interno, tutte devono essere percorse. Il viaggio deve essere fatto di diverse tappe. Come in un’usuale stanza di un qualsiasi museo, l’opera di DOT DOT DOT è illuminata e protetta da un cordone rosso, un limite che impreziosisce idealmente l’opera. A metà tra installazione e opera murale questa è stata pensata dall’artista per un museo immaginario. Un gioco, un divertissement estetico che conferisce all’opera un ulteriore significato: l’accettazione della trasformazione e il movimento inteso come un andare oltre.

Perfectly recognisable signs that mean much more than their iconographic and economic representation.  Perfectly aligned logos that hide another message. An apparently very colourful game. The work by the Norwegian artist DOT DOT DOT is a summary of his personal vision of the evolution of Street Art. Technology, communications, media and peculiar aesthetic are the key and unavoidable concepts that make up this artistic current; which doesn’t seem to be made of just aesthetic power. Street Art today is so much more. It encloses all these paths that all need to be walked. The journey is one which must be made of many stops.  Like in an usual room of any ordinary museum, DOT DOT DOT’s artwork is lit and protected by a red cordon; a boundary that makes the work conceptually more precious. Half-way between installation and mural, the work has been conceived by the artist for an imaginary museum. A game, an aesthetic divertissement that confers an ulterior meaning to the artwork: the acceptance of transformation and movement intended as going beyond.
