Il lavoro di Momo è legato a quella corrente della street art che possiamo definire astratta, un insieme di linee e forme studiate per fondersi con la struttura architettonica di supporto. Momo persegue l’idea di un’arte senza alcun fine figurativo. Il suo approccio è concreto, come lui stesso afferma: “il lavoro è lavoro e non rappresenta niente”, lasciando l’interpretazione della sua opera a chi vuole vederci qualcosa, a chi non rinuncia a cercare un senso in quello che vede. La sua necessità è di comporre “zone di colore” che si vanno ad aggiungere alla superficie del muro, creando, con raffinato ritmo compositivo, un dialogo armonico con l’architettura. Momo si è qui confrontato con la più grande parete del festival, una superficie difficile dove la quantità delle finestre e le asperità del muro hanno messo a dura prova la pulizia del suo tratto.

Momo’s work is part of that stylistic current of Street Art that can be defined as abstract, a collection of lines and shapes created to blend with the architectural structure supporting it.  Momo promotes the concept of art that doesn’t aim to represent reality. His approach is realistic, as he himself states: “work is work and it doesn’t mean anything”; and by doing so he leaves the interpretation of his artwork to who wants to see something in it, to who doesn’t stop trying to make sense of what they see. He has a necessity to compose “areas of colour” that add to the surface of the wall, creating, through a refined composite rhythm, a harmonious dialogue with architecture.  Here at Outdoor Momo has been confronted with the largest space in the festival, a difficult surface where the number of windows and the unevenness of the wall have really tested the neatness of his strokes.
