Il lavoro di Leonardo Crudi ci parla attraverso un’estetica nostalgica del passato, legando indissolubilmente la società, come istituzione organizzata e stratificata, all’uomo e al lavoro che ha compiuto per creare il proprio patrimonio. Il concetto di patrimonio e di umanità sono inscindibili, e sono la matrice di qualsiasi prodotto culturale, architettonico, linguistico. Nelle opere presentate viene utilizzata la grafica delle illustrazioni propagandistiche russe del ‘900 e all’interno compaiono i ritratti di Rodchenko, Majakovskij, ?jzenštejn, unite alle parole “amore”, “propaganda”, “lavoro-lavoratore” e “macchinario”. La presenza di alcuni tra i più importanti artisti russi costruttivisti vuole comunicare la volontà, propria di quel movimento, di riportare l’arte a essere strumento di cambiamento della società – e quindi del patrimonio – e non soltanto specchio autoreferenziale. le persone, i prodotti e le azioni sono necessarie alla costruzione della società e quindi del patrimonio.

The work of Leonardo Crudi speaks to us through a nostalgic aesthetic of the past, inextricably linking society, as an organized and stratified institution, to the man and to the work he has done to create his own patrimony. The concept of heritage and humanity are inseparable, and are the origin of any cultural, architectural or linguistic product. In the works presented here, the style from the Russian propaganda illustrations of the 1900s is used, and the portraits of Rodchenko, Majakovskij, ?jzenštejn – together with the words “love”, “propaganda”, “labor-worker” and “machinery” – appear inside. The presence of some of the most important constructivist Russian artists wants to communicate the will, proper to that movement, of bringing art back to being a factor of change in society – and therefore of heritage – and not just a self-referential mirror.
